AlgarveCycling is a licensed Portuguese tour operator and complies with all applicable national and European legislation, including Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel, as transposed into Portuguese law by Decree-Law no. 17/2018 of 8 March. The company holds the official Tour Operator licences RNAVT 5114 and RNAAT 1296/2024, along with recognised Nature Tourism certification from Tourism of Portugal, ensuring trusted, safe, and responsible travel experiences.

In accordance with the law, AlgarveCycling is covered by mandatory insolvency protection through the Travel and Tourism Guarantee Fund (FGVT), managed by Turismo de Portugal. This protection ensures the refund of payments made by travelers, and, where applicable, repatriation, in the unlikely event of insolvency or failure to provide the contracted services.
